PCOS
Story
Growing up, I remember always experiencing PCOS symptoms. The unwanted hair, hormonal acne, weight that was impossible to come off, mood swings, the list can go on and on. I hated how I couldn't control my body or knew what was happening to it. It took a toll on me mentally and physically.
After being on the birth control pill for around 2 years I decided to come off of it. That’s when it all went downhill. I lost my period, gained way more weight, acne acne acneeee to say the least, my body was so out of whack. After 6 months of not getting my period, I finally got diagnosed with PCOS. I debated going back on the pill because the doctor said that was the only way I would get my period back, but thankfully my sister told me to see a holistic nutritionist she knew of.
I worked with her one-on-one for 3 months where she customized everything to my body and within the first month of working with her I got my period back and slowly got control over my body again. Since then I never looked back to the pill and I’ve learned how to take care of my body.
